Today First Lady Michelle Obama joined kids and families – along with favorite Disney Channel and Disney XD stars, and the hugely popular “Phineas and Ferb” character, Perry the Platypus – at an event to get kids moving, during Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living & “Let’s Move!” celebration at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Channel stars Debby Ryan (“Jessie”), Roshon Fegan (“Shake It Up”), and Disney XD stars Doc Shaw and Kelsey Chow (“Pair of Kings”) and Olivia Holt (“Kickin’ It”) inspired kids to get active with the new dance “The Platypus Walk.” The event marks the second anniversary of “Let’s Move!,” the First Lady’s initiative to fight childhood obesity, and Disney Magic of Healthy Living, a Company-wide initiative designed to inspire kids and families to lead healthier and active lifestyles.
During the event, choreographer Rosero McCoy (“Shake It Up” and “Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam”) demonstrated “The Platypus Walk,” a catchy spy-surf-rock song and dance that encourages fun physical activity, and on-air personality Radio Disney’s Ernie D served as emcee for the occasion. As part of the celebration, kids participated in five physical activity stations with professional athletes and Disney Channel and Disney XD stars.
Disney Magic of Healthy Living is an initiative designed to partner with parents in their quest to raise healthy, happy kids. The program provides kids and families with engaging content, useful tools and unique experiences to help make healthier lifestyles simple and fun.

“Kickin’ it” Set to Return in February!

According to some sources, it’s been stated that Disney XD’s Kickin’ it will return with new episodes through out the month of February! If these sources are accurate make sure to tune into Disney XD Starting February 4th! If im not mistaking these episodes that are set to air in February are the last few episodes of season 1. As most of you may know the cast is hard at work filming season 2!
